Whether you’re a local 2SLGBTQIA entrepreneur, in town for CGLCC’s Connect conference, or part of the Trade Mission to Web Summit, this gathering is your invitation to come exhale into something a little lighter, a little warmer, and a little more alive.

Hosted by the Rainbow Entrepreneur Collective (REC), Spring Fling is an early-evening social designed for soft landings, spontaneous conversations, and the kind of new connections that can grow into something beautiful. Yes, there will be name tags — the charming kind — but no long speeches or structured agendas. Just a gently held space to show up as you are, meet new people, and share in the warmth of our growing community.

We’ll gather at The Boxcar, one of Vancouver’s most fertile grounds for queer cultural energy. It’s cozy and vibrant inside, with a lush back patio that’ll be wide open if the weather’s with us. Foxx from the REC team will be spinning tunes, and there’ll be drinks available for purchase at the bar.

REC folks will be around to welcome you, make introductions, and keep the atmosphere flowing with ease and generosity. Whether you’re dropping in solo or coming with friends, you’re invited to make this evening your own — a space to reconnect, be inspired, or simply take a breath.

Come early or late, stay for a quick hello or linger through the evening — and if you’re still vibing after 7:30, feel free to stay as The Boxcar transitions into their Latin Vancouver night.

This isn’t just a casual hang — it’s a space to cultivate what’s next.

• RSVPs: RSVPs are appreciated, but not required. This helps us get a sense of numbers and make sure there’s enough space to welcome everyone with ease.

  Feel free to bring a friend, colleague, or curious collaborator — the more the merrier! Just have them RSVP if they can, or come along with you day-of.

  This event is free to attend, and you’re welcome to drop in anytime between 5:00 and 7:30 PM.
